Owner of Buffalo Bill's daughter Jessica Pegula Reaches U.S. Open Quarterfinals
Jessica Pegula and her doubles partner Coco Gauff have reached the quarterfinals of the U.S. Open.
Jessica Pegula is the daughter of Terry and Kim Pegula and the top-ranked American woman.
No. 8 Pegula got a victory over No. 21 Petra Kvitova in Arthur Ashe Stadium on Monday.
“It feels amazing, I’m so happy,” Pegula described her feeling of victory on court.
“Petra was going to be really tough the way she hits winners from anywhere on the court. It’s the first time I’ve beaten her too, so that was nice.” she said.
“I think I just have to play within myself and play smart and be present,” Pegula said.
“I think I tried to do that today. Today, I already said, felt like a quarterfinal to me just because I haven't beaten her before, she's been having a good summer,” she explained.
Terry Pegula, Jessica’s father, is worth $6.7 billion and is going to be so proud of her.
Pegula and Gauff made to reach the French Open women’s doubles final earlier this year.
