About the owner of Deccan Chargers Hyderabad
Deccan Chargers or DC was incorporated in the year 2008 by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). It was launched as part of the first eight cricket franchise teams for the t20 competitions to have happened in 2008.
Firstly, DC was bought by Deccan Chronicle Holdings Ltd. for $107 million. And after 2012, when the owner wanted to sell the Franchise, it was not taken by any and later the team got terminated for not following IPL terms.

Deccan Chargers or DC, formerly owned by Gayatri Reddy. Gayatri Reddy, daughter of T Venkattram Reddy, who is the owner of the Deccan Chronicle. She helped her father in retaining the Deccan Chargers team during the year 2008, for selecting the squad and other profiles.
Gayatri Reddy graduated from University College, London. Moreover, a feature editor in her dad’s media- Deccan Chronicles Newspaper.
Presently, the Hyderabad franchise was taken over by Sun Network under the name Sunrisers Hyderabad.
