TVS Motor is controlled by the TVS family via Sundaram-Clayton Ltd (~50% stake). Venu Srinivasan (Chairman & MD, Padma Vibhushan awardee) leads the company. TVS ended its Honda partnership in 2001 and has since built its own portfolio — Apache, Jupiter, NTorq, iQube EV. TVS stands for T.V. Sundaram (after the group founder T.V.
